With Blanchard grinding technology, parts are mounted to a rotating chuck and processed by counter-rotating grinding wheel segments. This produces a unique spiral surface finish suitable for a wide variety of precision applications.

The process of Blanchard grinding removes material from one side of the part at a time. This ensures fast material removal and precise dimensional control of overall size and part feature relationships.

Nifty Bar specializes in Blanchard grinding applications. In fact, our extensive Blanchard grinding equipment can process materials up to 110″ on the diagonal at heights up to 34″.
